sustainMare Lecture Series

In our lecture series, we report on the background and results of our work in the research mission sustainMare. Individual aspects are explained in self-contained lectures in a professional and generally understandable way. The topics cover a wide range from the energy transition in the North and Baltic Seas, climate change effects on the coast and the protection of biodiversity to the dangers posed by munitions in the sea. All lectures are recorded and available for download.

Successfully implemented in 2023 the lectures series continues in 2024. It was chosen for the "Certificate Intercultural Competence“ at Hamburg University, and video and audio recordings are used as study material at Kiel University and broadcasted at Deutschlandfunk Nova.
